Been coming here for years. Definitely a staple in my family. Well seasoned food, from the snapper to the rotisserie chicken. Best yellow rice in the area.
This is hands-down, the best Silvestre location in my opinion. I always call and order my food and it's always ready for pick up when I go. The service is phenomenal and so is the food. My go to order is a steak taco bowl. The steak is always very tender and well seasoned. The taco bowl is always overflowing and the amount of steak that you get for the price is amazing. Both the green and orange sauces, put all of the dishes over the top. I've also had their pupusa and tamales. I love a good pupusa and the curdito that comes with it is so fresh. The prices are great, and the food is amazing. This is definitely one of my favorite spots to go to when I don't wanna cook
I hadn't had Silvestre's in a while and haven't visited since the move from across the street. I was nicely surprised to see the menu had quite a bit of new items!! I decided on the chicken and steal taco bowl in addition to my regular order of steak tacos and a pork and cheese papusa. I got the food to go. The taco bowl was well packaged and wrapped in foil with a plate on the bottom for reinforcement. The tacos were nicely packaged, and so was the papusa in plastic containers. The shell was perfectly crisp and unbroken when I got home. The food was delicious! My bowl had everything I asked for, including the yellow rice, peppers, onions, lettuce, sour cream, etc. Should have added guac, but next time! Tacos perfect. Papusa perfect! Nice to see the sauces in bigger containers! I remember the many small ones we used to get way back when. Can't wait to try some of the new sides I saw - cabbage, collards, pintos, etc. Service was quick and I love the parking in the back. It's cozy inside and the perfect place for lunch or dinner! Chicken is good. The rotisserie chicken is delicious. They have such a variety of food and styles of platters. Shrimp, steaks, Peruvian, Mexican. It's just a smorgasbord of options. I had a rotisserie chicken burrito. Stuffed full of chicken, rice, peppers, onions, beans etc. You know it was better than Chipotle.
The taco bowl is always my go to!!! The bowl is huge and is definitely shareable. I typically order the mixed, chicken, shrimp and steak (it includes rice and taco fixings) I ordered ahead and still had to wait about 15 minutes or more for my order. Parking lot looks small and tight, but because customers are in and out, it's normally not a problem. Of course I will continue to frequent this
